The Edgar Broughton band started their career in 1968 as a blues group under the name of The Edgar Broughton Blues Band, playing to a dedicated but limited following in the region around their hometown of Warwick. However, when the band began to lean towards the emerging psychedelic movement, dropping the 'Blues' from their name as well as their music.

I Am The Dustbowl / Bone Man - Double A-Side
Welcome to the theatre of Furta Sacra. A London band who emerged from the rubble in 2010, they came together to create this new musical creature. Through scintillating and foundation-shuddering live performances, Furta Sacra deliver moments of both melancholy beauty and sonic chaos with songs 'I am the Dustbowl' and 'Bone Man' from the double A-side single. With soaring guitars, militant drums, thundering bass and exquisitely dark vocals, audiences are left serenaded and shocked. The 7th of May see's The Davenport Collection playing host to the single release of Furta Sacra. Featuring the two fantastic songs 'I Am The Dustbowl & Bone Man'. The launch of the double A-side shall be taken place at The Monarch (Camden) on the same day as the release.

In late 2011, Alistair released his E.P 'The Mess We're In' as a free download via Bandcamp, one year on we listened and loved it. With catchy banjo picking, and delicate lyrics Alistair manages to capture his audience with his soaring vocal range & stage presence. It's almost been a year since The Scrapbook was released. Now with countless plays on the web and plenty of amazing feedback, we've been handing out our compilation album at our events, featuring eight Bluegrass, Folk & Alternative tracks from The United Kingdom & USA, we regret to inform that we have around twenty more hard copies to give away. THE CAMDEN HEAD RECORDINGS
Blessing us with their musical company in late November, we hosted a small event at The Camden Head featuring Eloise Rees, Alistair Mackenzie, Dana Immanuel & Laura Victoria. We decided to record a few songs. Displayed below are two recordings; one by the songstress Laura Victoria (featuring Jo Cooper) & the Howling Alistair Mackenzie.
